Getting Started


So, there have been a lot of updates just today. I'm going to need to come up with a better routine of pushing builds, but this was for a competition so the hotfixes kept cropping up. As of this first push, the majority of the game loop is complete. The basic function is all here. You have an onslaught of enemies and you have a sword to take them out. I uploaded without sound because I wasn't sure that I would be able to find all the right pieces there but I managed to put together a decent little sound stage to get started. I have more plans for how to make that sound a little less repetitive. 

The assuming you stay sharp and find the health pick ups at the right times the game could go on forever at this point. I'm pretty satisfied with the game so far. The controls feel pretty good, the sounds and animations all seem to work well in concert. The menus have also been cleaned up. 

As of now the Windows and Mac versions are a little out of date with some of the hotfixes that I threw in but don't worry, it's mostly graphics adjustments or making sure to stop some of the sounds that start.
